Fundamental Components and Processes of the Universe (my latest understanding)

 Creator/Intelligent Design

The universe began when the Creator said "let there be light". Recently completed research investigating the invisible quantum math and physics of cosmology underlying all the visible and classical physics of the natural world concluded that without an external "observer" the universe could not exist. There is NO evidence that something (like the universe) can emerge from nothing. None. The universe was created by a Creator. Any failure to recognize the Creator as an eternal Supreme Spirit is evidence of a narrow view of science tied to a 500 year old conflict launched at the trial of Gallileo. 

The Universe is the result of an incredibly complex and finely tuned design from the gravitational constant to the structure of DNA. This design makes the universe and everything in it discoverable and describable through the language of math.

The Universe is Quantum

Traditional physics hit an experimental quantum wall with the introduction of the dual slit experiment in the 19th century.  Classical physics had no explanation for the outcome that light was a "particle-photon" when one slit was present but was a wave when two slits were presented in front of the same lamp. Only quantum physics could explain that the nature of light was only a potential, a set of probabilities, until an observer "collapsed" those probabilities through their manipulation of the outcome of the experiment by replacing one slit with two and observing a wavelike interference pattern instead of a single dot on the target material. 

As we have discovered over the last 200 years, everything in the universe is quantum in nature at the smallest scales, and perhaps even at larger scales. The quantum properties of human brain cells has opened the door to discovering that at the quantum level, everything is connected to everything else. 

The Universe is Fractal

From the structure of galatic nebulae to the anatomical structure of the human eyeball, patterns in the universe repeat at every level of scale. The Fibonacci sequence maps the underlying process of repeating patterns in nature from stars to leaves to geologic features to anatomical structures in all living creatures. This fractal nature is a reflection of the Creator who said "let us make man in our own image" and later when Jesus said "if you have seen me you have seen the Father". The fractal nature of reality is also evident in history, in Biblical writing and prophecy, and in social systems. At every level of any system, fractal patterns are repeated. 

Tne Universe is composed of Complex Adaptive Systems

While the theory of evolution of the human species is no longer a viable theory since is lacks a single case of any of the earlier human progenitors evolving into a homo sapiens, nontheless nature abounds with a multitude of stories of nature adapting in surprising ways to environmental changes (which are themselves the result of complex adaptive system changes in geology, weather, climate, etc.).

This pattern of complex adaptive systems in flora and fauna is also evident in cultures, both naturallyoccurring and in human built organizational structures. Unexpected phenomena emerge unbidden from complex adaptive systems making traditional economics and management largely irrelevant and ineffective. When man made systems are not aligned with naturally occuring complex adaptive systems, and the inevitable clash occurs, the natural CAS always wins, sooner or later.  

The Universe is Paradoxical

The universe if both ordered and chaotic. Humans behave in ways that are both good and bad. Political systems are both benigh and inhumane. Nature can be both soothing and destructive. Reality can be both peaceful and terrifying.  

Faith and science can both describe and explain natural phenomenon and historical trends and events.
